Pressed Wood Sheet Size

Typical finishes include laminate veneer and paint. Plywood is made by gluing plies of veneer together at right angles. No standardized grades but manufactured with void free plies and face veneers carrying a grade of b or better. Particleboard is engineered lumber that is composed of wood chips and particles pressed and bound with urea formaldehyde.

The most common size for plywood sheets is 4 x 8 feet followed by 5 x 5 feet. The sheet is heated briefly to activate the resin resulting in a solid sheet of manufactured wood. The product comes in 3 plies 4 plies or 5 plies the more plies in a sheet the stronger the plywood it is available in special order widths and lengths as well as standard 4 x 8 1 2m x 2 4m sheets with nominal thicknesses from 1 8 3mm to 1 1 8 28mm. Hardwood and softwood are broken down into fibers in a machine called a defibrillator. We also carry pre cut project panels that are available in different sizes that may vary by store.
