Crimp the end cap in place using the same gutter sealant used on the seams.

Longer gutters and larger roofs require more downspouts. Attach a short length of downspout to the underside of the diverter. Install a diverter in the downspout positioning it even with the top of the rain barrel. While it makese sense to slightly slope the gutter toward the downspout about 1 4 in.

Each downspout requires three elbows.
